Taylor Swift fans are in for another treat — the superstar is offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at her historic Eras Tour through a brand-new Disney+ docuseries and a Vancouver concert film.
The End of an Era Docuseries
Disney+ has officially announced a six-part docuseries titled “The End of an Era,” which will take viewers backstage to experience the planning, performances, and personal moments that defined Swift’s record-breaking tour.
The first two episodes drop on December 12, followed by two new episodes each week over the next two weeks. The series covers the massive global run that took Swift from sold-out stadiums in March 2023 all the way through December 2024.
The Final Show Concert Film
Premiering the same day, December 12, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour — The Final Show” will give fans a front-row seat to the last stop of the tour, filmed at BC Place in Vancouver on December 8, 2024.
The concert film includes the entire live performance of Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” album — the first time it will be shown in full.
Taylor’s Reflection
Swift shared her excitement on Instagram alongside the trailer, writing:
“It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down.”
Announcement and Record-Breaking Success
Both the docuseries and concert film were unveiled Monday on Good Morning America — the same show where Swift first announced the Eras Tour back in November 2022, calling it “a journey through all of my musical eras.”
Since then, the Eras Tour has made history, grossing over $2 billion and attracting more than 10 million fans worldwide, according to Taylor Swift Touring.
It also inspired the record-breaking concert documentary “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” now officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the highest-grossing concert film of all time. The extended “Taylor’s Version” is currently streaming on Disney+.
Swift on the Tour’s Challenges and Legacy
While accepting the Tour of the Century award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, the 14-time Grammy winner described the Eras Tour as “the most challenging thing” she’s ever done:
“It’s a three-and-a-half-hour show, more shows than I’ve ever done on a tour, and it really was the most gratifying thing I’ve ever done.”
The intense schedule also inspired her to create her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” recorded during the tour. Speaking about it in an Oct. 6 interview on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up, Swift said the project “reinvigorated every single aspect” of her life.
Released on October 3, 2025, The Life of a Showgirl — her 12th studio album — broke yet another record by becoming Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day.
